What is the 'setup fee' for?
Answer: The 'setup fee' is the one time setup fee involving setting your site up online,
tying your web site to the databases, and general registration, a lot of legal stuff and tying you into our site. A lot of leg work is involved in setting a site up.
Why do I need a domain name?
Answer: A domain name is used to give you an address on the internet similar to an address you might have at a place of residence at your home or apartment. The domain name needs to be tied an ip address in order for it to be accessible over the internet. an ip address looks like 192.168.0.2
This will give you a 'home address' on the internet, that way you can be a www.productyourselling.com. This involves tying an IP address to your domain name The cost to Internic is $70.00 for 2 years however we can perform the service of setting it up for you which is a drawn out process for $30.00.
What does "hosting fee to host a 'static' site" mean?
Answer: That means we will maintain the site (keep it up and running).
Static - is an unchanging page similar to a billboard along the road.
People will be able to access your site 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, doing everything in our power to keep it so*.
*assuming no problems with the phone company, the ISP or other external communication problems.
What other services can you provide for additional fees?
Answer: The databases will track your customers, provide statistics, allow you to do
mass mailings to everyone who ever bought anything from you and gather
marketing data which we will do and send out reports periodically, among
other things, as new things are developed they will be available to you.
